The house sits in a quiet, rural setting near the small town of Ostra in Italy's Marche region. Ostra's historic centre, with its lanes and old town walls, is just a short drive away. The Adriatic coast and its beaches, the city of Ancona, and the Conero peninsula are all easily reached by car, and Ancona-Falconara Airport is quick to reach too. Rimini Airport (about an hour's drive) or Bologna are good alternatives as well — both cities have great train connections onward, for example to Senigallia. Day trips to Urbino or Senigallia are easy to plan from here as well.
